Due to a significant decrease in submissions over the past few years and to make better uses of our financial and volunteer resources, the CPRS Calgary Board has decided to suspend the Alberta Areté Awards Program for 2012. Instead, we encourage you to consider the CPRS National Awards of Excellence Program which is open to all members in good standing and offers several submission categories in which you can showcase your best work.
Have you or your team completed an outstanding project, program or campaign in internal or external communications and public relations? Does it deserve to be recognized by your peers?
Do you know a competent public relations practitioner who has demonstrated an extraordinary contribution and commitment to the advancement of the public relations profession?
The annual CPRS National Awards of Excellence present a unique opportunity to either nominate your work in a wide variety of categories or your peer in the CPRS Major Awards.
You can find all necessary information including tips, forms and descriptions of categories on the website of the Canadian Public Relations Society.
While there is still a bit of time left to prepare your submissions, the deadline is approaching very quickly. Make sure that you don't miss it! Send your submissions by mail on or before March 30, 2012 5 p.m. ET to:
