Volunteer Opportunities
CPRS Calgary would like to invite public relations and communications students from MRC, SAIT and U of C to join its Programs and Professional Development committee as registration volunteers.

CPRS Calgary holds professional development events on the third Wednesday of each month and requires volunteers to assist with registration at the events. Student volunteers receive free admission to the event they help out with, not to mention a fantastic opportunity to meet and network with professionals in the industry.

Students would need to arrive at 11:30 a.m. for lunch events and 8 a.m. for breakfast events. Total time commitment is about 2 hours per event.

Students who are interested should contact events@cprscalgary.comfor more information.

CPRS Calgary actively encourages and supports students from both Mount Royal University, the University of Calgary and now SAIT. Student members are individuals who do not qualify for voting member status and who are enrolled full-time in a course of studies that would lead them to a career in public relations. Upon graduation from their course of study, student members may maintain their student membership status for a period of 12 months and are eligible to pay the student membership dues (only $21) for that period of time. Student members admitted by the Calgary Society are aligned with the Calgary Society alone and are not part of the National Society.

For more information about CPRS student activities or to become a student member, please contact the Membership Chair at membership@cprscalgary.com.
