CPRS Annual National Conference

2012 Conference website - http://victoria2012.cprs.ca/

The push is on to have an extra large contingent of Calgary members in attendance. If you've not yet been to a CPRS National Conference, make this the one. You'll benefit from the insights of featured speakers like Anna Maria Tremonti, host of the most popular radio program in Canada - CBC Radio's The Current. You can expect excellent content in the plenary and breakout sessions, and to be delighted by the social events being planned. Besides, Victoria is especially beautiful in June and the city is located practically next door.

Don't be swept away

Remain current with what is happening within the industry by connecting with fellow practitioners during three days of workshops, networking opportunities and social soirées. More than 20 professional development workshops will be offered to delegates on a range of topics that include trends in communications, ethics and crisis communications, internal communications and social media. Currents 2012 keynote and plenary speakers will provide an in-depth look into the world of communications in today's environment.

Evening Events

You will spend your days sharpening your professional skills and your evenings socializing with colleagues from across Canada. Currents 2012 provides you with the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and establish new connections during the conference evening events. Learn more about Canada's west coast on a trip to the Royal BC Museum; explore Vancouver Island's famous Butchart Gardens one step at a time; savour the taste of Victoria with a visit to Church and State Wines and witness the best Canadian Campaigns of the year during the 2012 CPRS National Awards of Excellence Gala and Dinner.

Currents 2012 is more than just professional development sessions and networking opportunities, it provides a well-balanced atmosphere that can help you set the course for your future. Register today and join CPRS on the West Coast.
